We're looking for a detail-oriented Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support our project team in preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimations for construction and interior fit-out projects. What You'll Do
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on architectural, interior, and technical drawings.
- Calculate quantities and estimate project costs accurately.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify required materials and work scope.
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, and vendors to validate cost assumptions.
- Update BOQs and cost estimates when design revisions occur.
- Support budget planning and cost comparison for project procurement.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or similar role.
- Experience preparing BOQs for construction and/or interior fit-out projects.
- Able to read architectural, MEP, and shop drawings.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with AutoCAD, Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar quantity take-off software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
